I build for the web; it's the slice of software I know best, and the one I keep coming back to. For a long time I optimized for does it work. AI shifted that for me: when a machine can produce working code on demand, "it works" stops being the interesting part. So I'm relearning the layer underneath, the whys I skipped on the way up.

Also takes photos, though mostly as an excuse to look at things slowly.
